This team of five is supported by two leading technology-focused investment firms and strong product line leadership teams.


Jeff Tognoni, Chief Executive Officer
Jeff Tognoni is president and CEO of Consona. He began his tenure as CEO in August 2003. Prior to joining Consona, Tognoni was entrepreneur-in-residence for Battery Ventures. He joined the Battery software investment team in October 2002, focusing on exploring new opportunities in the software application business.
Tognoni has helped to develop some of the fastest growing companies in the technology industry. With more than 23 years of experience, Tognoni has held CEO positions at such companies as Millennium Dynamics, a provider of software and services, and iKnowledge Inc., a provider of B2B e-marketplace software and services; and Zeborg, a provider of spend analysis software and management consulting. His 24 years of experience span the entire software industry, including enterprise application software (i.e., enterprise resource planning, customer relationship management, business intelligence and securities trading), as well as database software, system software and development tools.
Tognoni began his career in business development, sales and marketing with Wismer Associates—now a part of SunGard Data Systems and Dunn and Bradstreet Software. In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Tognoni helped build the CASE software division of Texas Instruments (TI) to $280 million in sales before it was sold to Sterling Software in 1997. At TI, he rose through sales, services and international executive positions to become general manager of the enterprise business unit.
Tognoni holds a B.S. in geological engineering from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A. in international finance from Thunderbird (American Graduate School of International Management).

Steve Bailey, Vice President, Research and Development

Steve Bailey joined Consona in February 2006 as chief technology officer, and was named vice president, technology in February 2008. Prior to joining Consona, Bailey served as director of architecture for 20th Century Fox, where he created the architecture department and was responsible for both software development and the growth of the company’s global IT infrastructure.

Throughout his career, Bailey has served in technical management positions at several Fortune 500 companies, holding responsibility for software design, consulting and global IT infrastructure growth. Bailey served as vice president, software development for BondNet Trading Systems where he was responsible for the design and construction of a nationwide distributed bond trading system. In a previous role, Bailey worked as director of the object oriented consulting practice for Tier Technologies.

A published author and U.S. patent holder, Bailey has designed and implemented multiple software operations, including the software development processes for a Siemens software factory unit, and more recently, the 24/7 operational processes for the No. 1 automotive Web site on the Internet, http://www.toyota.com/.

Bailey holds a B.S. in microbiology from Purdue University and an M.S. in molecular biology from Washington University in St. Louis.


Kathy Kinder, Vice President, Finance and Administration
Kathy Kinder joined Consona in February 1994 as manager, finance. She held the company’s controller position from March 1996 until January 2004, when she was named vice president, finance and administration. During her tenure with Consona, Kinder assisted with the company’s initial public offering that occurred in December 1997 and has been responsible for SEC reporting requirements, revenue recognition policies, and banking relationships.
Kinder has previously served in controller and manager positions with several small manufacturers and a large food processor company.
Kinder holds a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University and has passed the CPA exam.

Michael Wyatt, Vice President and General Counsel
Michael C. Wyatt’s responsibilities include providing legal advice reguarding company activities to senior management and board of directors.

Prior to joining Consona, Wyatt was general counsel of Zotec Partners, LLC, a private company in the medical billing industry; vice president and deputy general counsel for WellPoint, Inc.; general counsel to eSkye Solutions, Inc. (eSkye), an early stage development company serving the beverage alcohol and hospitality industries; and associate general counsel for Apple Computer, Inc. His responsibilities throughout his career have varied from providing legal advice regarding corporate and securities matters, to SEC compliance and reporting, acquisitions, divestitures, equity investments and corporate governance.

Mr. Wyatt received a B.S. from the University of Cincinnati and is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, College of Law.

Satyadeep Prasanna, Vice President, Corporate Development
Satyadeep Prasanna (CP) joined Consona Corporation in 2005 and has over 15 years of software and technology industry experience. CP runs corporate development for Consona and has to date executed numerous transactions and acquisitions in the ERP and CRM segments of the enterprise software industry. He is also responsible for corporate partnerships, divestitures and strategy.

Prior to joining Consona, CP was a business development manager at Symphony Technology Group, a boutique private equity firm based in Palo Alto, California.

CP has an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) and an M.B.A. from the Indian School of Business (ISB).
 
Ray Vallillo Vice President, CRM Services & Support
Ray Vallillo joined Consona in August 1995. During his career at Consona, Vallillo has held various positions, including implementation consultant, regional services manager, director of customer support, vice president of customer support and vice president of operations.
Prior to joining Consona, Vallillo served as production and operations manager for a small distribution company in the Indianapolis area. Vallillo spent the first 10 years of his professional career working for AT&T. There, he held various assignments in manufacturing, manufacturing systems implementations and call center management.
Vallillo holds a B.S. in business management from Indiana University.

Scott Malia, ERP General Manager
Scott Malia joined Consona in October 1994 as an account executive for new system sales. He was later promoted to regional sales manager for the southeast territory. In August 2003, Malia was named director, sales and served in this role until he was promoted to general manager of Consona ERP in January 2006.
Prior to joining Consona, Malia worked at CAD/CAM Engineering as a sales representative and was in charge of launching the company’s reseller channel for the Keywill system, a micro-ERP software package. Malia also spent more than nine years in the manufacturing environment while employed at PM Company, a converter and supplier of business machine rolls and banking and financial products. During his tenure at PM Company, Malia held many positions, including accounting/job costing, production scheduler, production manager and sales representative.
Malia studied business at Indiana University/Purdue University Indianapolis.

Tom Millay, CRM General Manager
Tom Millay joined Consona in August 2003 as vice president, sales and marketing. In January 2006, Millay was named vice president, industry solutions, and also served as interim general manager of Onyx Software Corp. Millay returned to his vice president, sales and marketing role in January 2007, and was promoted to general manager of Consona CRM in February 2008. Prior to joining Consona, Millay held management positions at several startup software companies and was a consultant for Battery Ventures.
Millay has 28 years of experience in the information technology industry in sales, marketing, business development and systems development. Millay began his career at Texas Instruments (TI) in systems development as a programmer and project manager. He subsequently helped to build the TI CASE software division from a startup to $280 million in revenue while in sales, sales management and business development roles. When Sterling Software later acquired the TI software division, Millay was part of the executive team that developed the business plan and restructuring plan for the application development division. Millay held the position of vice president, sales at Sterling Software where he led a team of 225 people in software and services sales.
Millay holds a B.S. in computer science from the University of Evansville and an M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University.
