2002: Current CEO Jeff Tognoni joins Battery Ventures as entrepreneur in residence with an investment thesis that proposes to shift software companies to a profitable, customer-centric operating model. |
| 2003: Tognoni and Battery Ventures create M2M Holdings via acquisition and privatization of Made2Manage Systems. |
| 2004: M2M Holdings acquires its first industry-specific ERP application, DTR ERP. |
| 2005: M2M Holdings acquires Cimnet Systems, a provider of ERP applications for printed circuit board manufacturers. Thoma Cressey Equity Partners becomes a minority shareholder. |
| 2006: During the first half of 2006, M2M Holdings acquires five additional ERP product lines, including Intuitive ERP. In the second half, M2M Holdings acquires and subsequently privatizes publicly-held Onyx Software Corporation, creating the core of its CRM solution portfolio. |
| 2007: In March 2007, M2M Holdings changes its name to Consona Corporation and acquires KNOVA Software, augmenting its existing CRM offering with knowledge management and service resolution management solutions. |
| 2008: Consona Corporation splits into two divisions, Consona ERP and Consona CRM. The Consona ERP division acquires Configuration Solutions in March. |
| 2009: Consona Corporation acquires the enterprise software assests of SupportSoft in June and strengthens its service and support product offering. |
| 2010: Consona Corporation acquires leading open-source and cloud ERP provider Compiere Inc. in June, giving Consona its first cloudy-ready ERP solution and entry into the distribution market. |
