Metal Service Center to Implement AXIOM in Two Locations

The new system will be deployed at Dayton Steel Service’s two locations in Dayton, Ohio, and Rome, Ga. Dayton Steel Services maintains an extensive inventory of flat rolled steel products to provide customers with fast turnaround on cold rolled, cold rolled one pass, hot rolled pickled and oiled, hot dipped galvanized and galvanealled, electro-galvanized, aluminized, terne, and stainless products. Processes performed include slitting, rolling and oscillate slitting. The company will use AXIOM to help streamline order processing, inventory control, production scheduling, quality management, load planning and shipping, and financial management.
