Consona Releases ERP Software Encompix® ERP Version 9.4

Leading ERP Solution Builds on Customer Feedback to Provide Enhanced Feature Set for Project-Based Manufacturers

CINCINNATI, April 28, 2008 — Encompix, a Consona ERP solution and leading provider of enterprise resource planning (ERP) software for project-based, engineer-to-order (ETO) manufacturing operations, today announced the release of Encompix Version 9.4 (v9.4). The new version is an upgrade to the platform that was built based on specific needs expressed by a consortium of project-based companies, continuing to add new functionality designed exclusively from customer feedback.

Among the enhancements is an AutoCAD integration, which allows the software to exchange bills of material and item master information with AutoCAD, streamlining the flow of information from engineering to production and planning. Projects can be started from scratch in AutoCAD or based on previously designed solutions, and then released into the production system with the most accurate sourcing and costing information available.

Version 9.4 also offers improved visibility and consistency of the actual versus planned cost calculations on a variety of reports and query screens across an entire project, from engineering through installation, providing an accurate, current picture of profitability. In addition, project and shop floor reports are available in Crystal Reports, with the ability to drill down to details or modify standard reports to meet specific needs, providing access to the full bill of material for any parent covering sub-jobs, multiple release structures, shared parent structures, and sales orders.

Additionally, field access to project information has been improved through screens that can be easily tailored to match the particular needs of each user. This feature enables a faster route to important information that can be copied into spreadsheets to meet other requirements. New safeguards, such as automatic expiration dates in password management, have also been added to the software to ensure the highest level of security capabilities for Encompix customers.
